Sneaky Squirrel!

A few days ago our tomato plants lay dying, so we decided to go ahead and pull them out. This left a large empty spot in our planter.

Caught red-handed!

A squirrel apparently took a liking to the spot as I saw him checking it out on several occasions.

Well, as the hubby and I sat in the living room last night, we saw a movement out the window. As we watched, the squirrel not only hung out in the dirt, he ran away with a ripening bell pepper we were waiting to pick!

I thought it was hilarious. The hubby, who had intended on eating the pepper, thought it less so. šŸ˜‚.

I hope little buddy enjoyed it!
