The other day I decided to try a quiche. We eat a lot of eggs in our house so I thought we would change it up a little this time. I took a recipe from GarlicandZest.com and lightened it up a little bit. Where it called for milk, I used skim, where it called for heavy cream I used 1% buttermilk and where it called for shredded part skim mozzarella, I used fat free shredded cheese.
Yes I made lower fat substitutes, but it didn’t make one difference, because that shizz was delicious!! The hubby approved 100% and looks forward to more. It terms of WW (formerly Weight Watchers) it came out to 7 points a serving (team blue) and since we split the whole thing, I had three servings. It’s almost all my points, but totally worth it and something you can plan ahead to eat. Or eat one slice and pair with a salad!
