As a small gift to my MIL and SIL, I painted a pot for them each. They both enjoy gardening and having plants around the house, so I thought they might enjoy it.
I used acrylic paint since it is pretty sturdy and water-proof and I found some pictures online of secret gardens and pine forests to use for inspiration.
It took me about 3 or 4 sittings with super small brushes. I’m sure I could have done more, but as the holiday approached, it was important to have a stopping point.
Since I was an art teacher that specifically taught painting, it was a nice excuse to sit down and paint something. I love painting, but for whatever reason I find it hard to get myself to sit down and start. I’m looking forward to maybe try painting more pots in the future.
