You ever have one of those mornings? You just wake up and feel blah. You feel kind of dehydrated ( was I drooling too much?), a small headache is creeping up and it’s dark and cold outside. There’s no reason for you to feel sad, you just feel..well…blah.

That was me this morning. I don’t know why. But it’s ok. We all have those days, right? Right? We want to go back to bed or lay on the couch. Sometimes we all just need to feel that way. It happens. Go ahead, I’m giving you permission to whine a little bit and feel blah.

When you’re ready to move on with your day, find a spot to sit for a minute. Close your eyes. Take 5-10 deep breaths. In through your nose and out through your mouth. Make a noise when you release the air if you want to. Who cares if your coworkers stare at you or your children give you funny looks. This is your time!

While you’re breathing you might start to think about all the good things you have in your life. Or maybe the cat comes and sits with you. Enjoy the moment, enjoy the sweet purrs. You just might feel better 😊.
